California Senate Bill 553 (SB 553), signed into law September 30, 2023, requires employers to develop and implement a workplace violence prevention plan to be included in their Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP) by July 1, 2024.

Our legal counsel, Rich Hill with Littler, has created a customizable workplace violence prevention plan template for our contractors to quickly incorporate into their current IIPP.
